While the situation in Northern China is worsening as Lodrik moves ever closer to Sian, the situation in Southern China is quite the opposite; we may be able to go on the offensive soon. Near Burma, we lost sight of Lodrik's cruisers once again, and at Babeldoab, our brave Dutch sub that put down two whales last turn is hanging on for dear life after a carrier task force forms in the bay above. We finally initiated our first large offensive aerial strike against Lodrik at Formosa with mixed results. In Northern China, one of Lodrik's dreaded death stacks inches closer to Sian. At Clark Field, we repulse a massive attack inflicting heavy casualties on the Japanese. A window of opportunity opens in the Bay of Bengal, and the Japanese carriers have returned to Java looking for action.

Just when I thought were finally getting our footing, Lodrik teleports a carrier task force off the coast of Australia in between Townsville and Port Moresby and absolutely decimates our forces... again. This one is absolutely befuddling as he passed right through our naval search this time around. Take a look and see if you can figure out how. We do manage to put some hurting on Lodrik out near Mindanao however, and we left him with some smoldering wreckage ourselves. This was an action packed turn with tons of strategic implications, so take a look and let me know what you think!

In an eerily reminiscent moment from two weeks ago, Lodrik parked his carriers off of Townsville and absolutely NONE of my intervention plays come to fruition. In trade, our ports are bombed, our ships destroyed, and he gets away scot-free with no damage whatsoever. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong this turn, and there's no end in sight to the carnage in Australia. Elsewhere, three major decisive land battles loom in the foreground.

I was hoping for a three-peat of great turns, but unfortunately I can't quite call this one a total success. We experienced our combat debut of both the AVG and the P-38 in China, to lackluster results. At Clark Field, another major battle occurred and our troops could have done better, but they held. Maybe we can call this 2.5/3 for good turns?

Lodrik approached me after the last turn and requested a re-run due to it not going the way he expected or intended. I'm putting this video out only to be transparent and to show I am honoring my promise to extend him the same courtesy he showed me when the Lexington was sunk early in the campaign due to some errors I made. A better explanation is in the video... take a look. My debt is now paid and neither of us will be dealing with this again for the remainder of our campaign.

Agreed. However, he can't use it again, so if something bad happens to him during a naval engagement in the future, he won't have any recourse but to accept it. He fully acknowledged that. We're square, time to charge full force forward.

The devilish Mr. Lodrik caught me completely by surprise by attacking us with his paratroopers! He dropped them behind our lines and caused a ton of panic and confusion until I could figure out what he did. Down by Australia, Lodrik's submarines make their unwelcome reappearance. Near Rangoon, Lodrik is sending a fresh taskforce into the Bay of Bengal, and his bombers target our supply convoys entering Rangoon. This one's got a little of everything! Come take a look.

Lodrik has dealt us a critical blow in China, throwing the entire frontline into disarray and threatening all the careful defenses we have laid down. At Guam, Lodrik's timing couldn't be better (or worse) and our top secret B-17 rescue mission falls apart. On a happier note, our subs finally get their act together and send some of Lodrik's ships packing.
