Oh, I thought you guys already had the first air combat encounters.

The next turn ought to be quite "bloody". Looking forward to see what kind of carnage took place!

Well, the turn wasn't as bloody as expected. Storms grounded most of the Soviet planes and I was able to pound Voroshilov AF again without opposition. Here are the losses for the turn:

Yes, Soviet planes did fly in at least one part of the map...Petropavlovsk. They pounded my hapless AKs as they ran for their lives.

Things are under control at Okha, but the odds are about 1 to 1 so I need to pound on the ground units with the KB for another turn.

In Petro, my troops should be able to hold on, but they need to pin a medal on the Soviet commander there. He has been the only one firmly in charge on the whole front.

This is also where the Soviet Navy is based. I am waiting on all those subs to sail.
This turn, about half of my strikes will go against the port.

Am I wrong or ships hit by CD at Petropavlovsk are reported as sinking near Truk? [&:]

Here is Luzon. No maps of Mindanao, Borneo, or Malaya this turn as it should be fairly quiet in all three.

Now for some economics screens since some have asked about unit arrivals.

First is air uint arrivals.

And page 2 of the ground unit arrivals. As you can see, no ready to go large AV units for Japan in the next two months.

Near term ship arrivals. Note that we are playing with reinforcements fixed with no random variation in arrival days.

Now, the important stuff that everyone cares about...the carriers and battleships. Note that I halted Shinano and accelerated Musashi like a good JFB.

To generate the points needed to accelerate the Musashi and DDs, in addition to halting the Shinano, you need to halt all the subs that are using points:
