A Couple of Comments

Warplan is a World War 2 simulation engine. It is a balance of realism and playability incorporating the best from 50 years of World War 2 board wargaming.

I'm wondering why Canadian paratroopers can't use UK air transport to drop? They use UK transports to move by sea and pretty sure they didn't have their own transport aircraft for D-Day.

On another subject I think a significant historical option is missing from the game. For months ahead of D-Day the Allies bombed the rail network leading in to Normandy. Currently in the game there is no option for strategic interdiction of rail lines to slow down the movement of reinforcements and supply. That is why Rommel wanted the panzer reserves stationed close to the coast because he knew that it would be difficult to move them to the front because of total Allied air supremacy.

Honestly for WarPlan 2 Canada should just be part of the UK forces (much like Australia, etc).

I can't remember ever hearing of any incidents where the various Commonwealth forces had any problems cooperating.

Honestly I have gotten used to it...

Not sure why the Canadians are building paratroopers...but to each their own.

I rarely build much more than a few large corps...

I spend most of their points on Escorts and Merchants...
NOW maybe late in the war I could see it...but it is not for me.

Just like Romania, Hungary and Bulgarian paratroopers can't use German air transports...should they be able too?
I suppose.
