I used to play Third Reich when I was a teenager but as I remember the system was not all that good and I switched to World in Flames when that game came around. Still i am sure the system has evolved and it looks like a beautiful game.

Miss boardgames sometimes not the same as a computer for sure.

I used to play SPI War in Europe which was great...though beating Russia was impossible.


Also played the GDW War...but MY GOD...We set up Barbarossa once and it took 2 full days.

1st game I learned.... the hard way with a rules lawyer that gave me the rules when it was convenient for him.

When learning others the rules verbally, you risk the suspicion of bending the rulles to fit one's own ends! :D
