What a game!

-The map is straight up beautiful. Every hex looks good, and it doesn't cost anything in terms of information. It's abundantly clear what the hex is.

-The UI is nice and functional and not click heavy.

-When the enemy moves during their turn, you don't need to pay attention, on your turn when you actually get to play the game, that info will be clearly communicated to you in multiple ways:
a) There's lines showing where the enemy units moves to and from
b) Friendly units that got hit are shown in red.
c) Something that many games have, but this game does the best of all I've seen, and considering a) and b) it's barely needed: There is a simple list of every event in the very responsive UI that tells you every bombing, every battle, every partisan uprising. You click any of them, and you are immediately taken to the location (which will be familiar to you because of a) and b) and it will show you the details.

-If the text is a little small and you scale it up to 1.10, it doesn't look all blurry.

-Hover over any unit or hex and instantly the (again) very responsive and smooth game shows you relevant info.

-The icons on the map shows very clearly if there's a certain resource or city in a certain hex.

It's like a war game but you don't have to be into war games and endure the usual downsides of war games in order to enjoy it, it's just enjoyable as a game.
