Mirror games

Post by CHINCHIN »

Hello,

I am looking for an opponent for mirror games with the new scenarios. 1939 scenario.
My native language is Spanish, and no English language mastery, sorry.

Let me know if you are still looking and want a challenge.

I have no games going at this moment so would be happy to play a few.

Hello, I didn't notice the post. Yes, I want to play. Do you launch the games?

Any house rules?

In the end Stjeand and I didn't play. So I'm still looking for an opponent.

Scenario 1939, not small fleets. The small fleet scenario gives the axis an important advantage. A homemade rule of maximum 6 combat units in a fleet can be agreed upon.

Sorry Chin chin I should have responded.

I won't play any scenario other than the severe weather one.
It is the only one close to balanced.

Despite the scenarios modified by Alvaro, in which the defense of the Russian units increases, do you think it is still unbalanced in favor of the axis?

Honestly not sure. I have not played an opponent of equal skill to validate.

I still win with either Allies or Axis almost always.

It is very difficult to find opponents of close skill.
If you can then you will know.

BUT I still think weather in Russia is too forgiving. The Axis receive one cold turn and they can break the Russian lines and that causes havoc.
With the Severe winter scenario there are no chance for a cold turn in the winter months...still can get one in October which can be backbreaking.

I suspect if mud were introduced that would solve that situation and slow the Axis.

1942 is the key...and few opponents I play make it that far as the Germans, without taking huge losses and that pretty much ends it.

So maybe it is close now...
