Digital Download version and AI?

I have been looking after this game for a long time. Finally its out it seems. Still there are couple
questions...

1: When digital version of this game will be available for download/purchase? A Physical copy price is way too high. These days, you can buy a game with 0.99-4.99e at iOS store. 70e+ for a game is way too much. I know this is a niche game and all... I have heard all explanations about overpriced titles for years. What I fear, is that this overpricing really makes this a small niche product, that just few plays. Instead of a game that millions would play. A good example of such game is Dominions 3. It was a niche game that rarely anyone ever heard. Right after it came to Steam and with a fair price. A lot of people know and play it.

2: Any idea when AI will be coming, if ever?

There has been talk of an announcement on this for a while but no idea what will be announced or when.

Re the AI. Yes, we've been told its coming but no guarantees as to any date.

Most likely no announcement until Jan 6th or later as all the teams are off over the holidays. Execpt Steve of course [:D]

Have to say I will be annoyed if Matrix wait until after xmas holidays are over and then say we can purchase the game without the $50 freight charge.[:@]
I mean why wait until we are all back at work and don't have time to play the game. Lets just find new ways to annoy the customers guys.[:-]

+1 to that, I do not want to pay for the physical goodies, download only version is fine for me and my friends with PDFs in electronic version only.
