A question regarding the Collectors Edition

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

A question regarding the Collectors Edition

Post by warspite1 »

I see that A-D-G are selling Ships in Flames The Collectors Edition.

Are the contents of this the same as the Collectors Edition, or does it contain ships over and above those found in the Collector Edition?

Thanks in advance.

The answer depends on whether you own World in Flames Collector's Edition - Classic, or World in Flames Collector's Edition - Deluxe.

Ships in Flames is already included in the Deluxe edition, but not the Classic edition. So, if you own the Deluxe edition, you already have the same Ships in Flames expansion included.

If you don't yet own World in Flames Collectors Edition at all, and are thinking of purchasing, my recommendation would be to go with the Deluxe edition, as you also get the Planes in Flames, Division in Flames and Territories in Flames as well as the Ships in Flames expansions. Better value for money IMHO. It all depends on what your budget is.
