GER aligned Bulgaria, but realised quickly, this was unneeded, kind of a mistake. The RES GER gained from Bulgaria, she lost from SOV, so the net effect was zero, but the USA got an entry chit "2" for nothing. JPN used the fine weather for a successful StratBomb mission.

GER avoided any losses from CW SratBomb and Naval searches in the Baltic. A SOV SUB threatens the JPN CPs in CS.

Kweilin taken, but at great cost. Rolled a 13 at Blitz. So JPN experienced both a 14 at Assault and a 13 at Blitz within the first 3 turns. Turned out, this broke the neck of JPN already very early in the game, but I did not realise it at that time and did not try to adopt accordingly.

A lot of movement by SOV from West to East. A second SUB in CS, rail movement from Europe to Asia, tactical movement of army units near to Manchuria, the mighty SOV bomber fleet flying to the Far East. It is pretty obvious, SOV is going to attack JPN, but I cannot figure out, what to do to prevent it.

Had to close Burma Road politically. USA again gained an entry chit. I felt USE is so far sligthly higher than usual.

The SOV build-up in the Far East continues. Also, Malta is reinforced. A surprise invasion by ITA would not longer be possible.

40JF Summary
For two turns now I made no progress in Europe, lost all momentum. Even worse in Asia, there JPN lost 5 units to 3 CHN units and piling up an comparative BP loss. Critically, the SOV had not attacked Persia, had not taken the Baltic states nor the Finnish borderlands. Instead they moved all their best forces to the East. Obviously JPN had to count with their DoW soon, but I had no idea how to prepare/react. Number of impulses was 3 each, quite normal for a JF turn.
