After Amsterdam is captured attack is 8,5:0 = automatic. Is this correct?

That is correct. You get +1 for having an adjacent friendly corps at the moment of the attack. If the unit in Amsterdam is destroyed first, there is no adjacent friendly corps, so no +1.

How about the end result? Original was 2 notionals and when 1 was removed the result is 0?

IMO What Courtenay said is true, but however, it looks like a bug to me.

You have (1 base, 1 city, 1 ZOC and -1 surprise). This is not 2 notionals but a notional of value 2, but this is not real important matter.

After you kill or expel the stack at Amsterdam, you should have (1 base, 1 city, and -1 surprise), total 1 not 0.

And there is not a -1 because of OOS because Rotterdam is a city.

I found out this is a bug. It goes well (and there is 1 notional) if there is no naval combat after ship aborts from Ansterdam or ships is captured or destroyed. I reported this.

I should know the answer to this but I don't fully ...

Invading from a sea area with different weather than the hex being invaded.

For example, say I'm invading Rabul (south monsoon) from the Bismarck Sea (north monsoon). The weather is storm in the Bismarck Sea & rain in Rabul.

(1) Is an invasion from the Bismarck against Rabul allowed?

(2) What about shore bombardment? Is it allowed from the Bismarck Sea?

Now, let's say the weather is rain in the Bismarck Sea & fine in Rabul.
(3) Does Rabul's notional get an additional +1 for every unit invading from the 3-box of the Bismarck Sea?

1) Yes
2) Yes. With modifier for rain, of course.
3) No. The weather is fine so no modifier.

Cut from RAC:
8.2 Weather effects
....
8.2.7 Land combat
....
Shore bombardment
Add 1 to a sea-box’s asterisked shore bombardment (see 11.16.2) modifiers for units in that sea-box
bombarding a hex in rain or snow. For example, if the modifier is ‘0*’, treat it as a ‘1’ for units bombarding a hex in rain. Your units can not shore bombard a hex in storm or blizzard.

Hi guys

When attacked city using O-chit I get ENG city benefit doubled, is that a bug?

Lille has 3 printed factories so it should be -4

If I attack with ENG and HQ city modifier is -2 (correct)
If I O-chit double ENG it's -1 (doubling HQ does not add double modifier)
O-chit double with PARA does not double the paradrop effect.

I think its no bug. Mod is per factor and now Eng has twice as many. (I'm assuming this is a one factor Eng.)

I beg to differ, it is true that it is not a bug (if the +1 of the Para is included) but the bonus against factories of the ENG is never duplicated:

The thread in tech support has arrived at my original conclusion. No bug.

Is the PARA included in the Terrain & city modifier ? If so, it would sum:

3 fact + 1 city - 2 from Eng - HQ - Para = 0, no -1

PARA is not counted to Terrain & city modifier, it is independent bonus. I just mentioned PARA to clarify that bonus was not doubled.

Want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly and that this is indeed a bug before I report it. Results are repeatable from the latest beta tester version back to public beta 3.2.0.

(1) CW, Free France & USA just declared war on Vichy.
(2) However; Vichy isn't hostile.
(3) Land combat by Free France (3 units) & CW (1 unit) vs Vichy SYR 2-3 Terr.
(4) When I go to resolve the land combat there's no roll to check whether or not the Vichy unit is destroyed prior to combat.
(5) According to my reading of 17.5 below, the Vichy unit is destroyed prior to the land combat on a roll of 1-7 and a breakthrough results.
(6) However; MWIF made/requested no such roll.
(7) Bug, isn't it?

17.5. COMBAT WITH VICHY
If Vichy French land units are involved in a land combat, or are overrun, solely by units controlled by an Allied major power they are not hostile to, they may defect before combat

Roll a die immediately before land combat or the overrun for each Vichy unit (including notional units) involved. On a 4 or less, the Vichy unit is destroyed prior to combat resolution. If no Axis land units remain, an (attacking) Allied major power can advance after combat as if it were a ‘B’ result. Allied land units stay organized. Shore bombarding ships and ground supporting bombers still become disorganized. If it’s an overrun, you just pay the normal terrain cost, not double.

Subtract 1 from the roll for each Free French or U.S. land unit involved in the combat

If any unit stays loyal, the combat proceeds against those that remain.
