So I dont get this. Trying to setup USA

One Oil resource in Fairbanks with destination Detroit, its using convoy in Gulf of Alaska, there is only one and it all looks good when I llok at the details, however when I click unused it says that convoy is unused

I have 4 convoys in each W Coast, Mendicino, Hawaii and C Pacific, but when I say that I am closing it says that I dont have enough convoys in C Pacific due to trade agreement, to make it work I have to add a convoy in Central Pacific, making it five. I do have a resource from Philippines but that is routed by Solomons and Marshalls, so what is the problem?

Finally, do I have to route resources for the trade to Japan? I try to do this and have 2 oil sent to Japan but the resources in the trade bracket isnt changed and it still says Im in violation of the trade agreement

1. The US needs to setup 5 CPs each in West Coast, Mendicino, Hawaiian Islands and Central Pacific to honor their starting trade agreement with Japan. Note that Japan will have to set up 5 CPs in the Japanese Coast to complete that agreement.

2. The US will need 1 CP in the Gulf of Alaska to get the Alaska oil into the US.

3. The US will need 3 CPs in the Caribbean to get the 3 trade oil from Venezuela.

4. The Philippine RP can't be used to satisfy any of the RPs that the US must give to Japan.

5. Also, you won't be able to get the Philippine RP to a factory at setup. That'll take some maneuvering with your spare CPs. In fact, it's this RP that I give to China when I pass the relevant US entry option. This will require 2 CPs to get it there. The 2 CPs can be any combination of US, CW or French.

Also, during US setup if you click on, "Setup Rules" a form will pop up telling you when to setup your CPs to satisfy the US trade agreement with Japan.

The routes are automatic. And, unless/until you specific RP to factory pairings that's automatic too.
