Elabortion of races in this world?

Sovereignty: Crown of Kings is a turn-based fantasy strategy game for the PC. It offers a intuitive yet deep province system, allowing you to raise armies, conduct diplomacy, scout enemy battle lines, rally heroes to your banner, send them on quests, cast spells and go to war. In Sovereignty, the player chooses one of 35 Realms in a bid for dominance of the map. Play is conducted in a series of turns as a single player game. Each Realm has a unique culture and history, which translates directly into different play-styles. Each realm has its own mix of unit types and spell trees. Their diplomatic relations, economies and histories vary. A player may choose a new realm and experience the game in a very different way. Fantasy heroes, troops, races and spells complement the rise to power.

An example of a non-human race: the orcs of the Iron Barony. Their lore and culture translates into units that are cheap, quick to build, somewhat weak--but also happily expendable. Many of their units actually return gold to you when they die. Send them to the meat grinder. We'll build more. The Iron Barony is a "we will swamp you with masses and laugh at our losses," kind of play style.

Some Lore:

Background
The great, sprawling hills and wastes of the Iron Barony are home to a vast orcish realm. The orcs here are indigenous, and in ages past battled the dwarves of Cor Vilaad for the same living space. Today, however, both realms have turned their watchful eye to a greater threat...the mighty migrations of the humans across the continent. Already Dragonhold has carved an impregnable outpost from the northern frontier. And the barbarians of Vessoi beat the drums of their own horde. While at peace, the orcs are as likely to bicker and fight amongst themselves. But at war, the Iron Barony is capable of mustering fearsome numbers. They employ little in the way of tactics. Still, the orcs laugh away their losses in battle; they can always be replaced.

Your Diplomatic Advisor
Elf flesh or human blood? Take what is yours. Leave the rest. We can find friends in common battle: the dwarves, the undead. They will fight with us and smash our foes.

Your Military Advisor
We fight for gold and glory. Hear the rattle of spear on shield, the call for blood. We are many, and they are few. Send us forward. Overrun their positions. March over skull and bone. Burn their villages, take their wealth, claim their women.

Your Economic Advisor
We mine and toil. Pull gold from cave and hole. But the tunnels run dry. And we seek new lands to dig again, to dig behind our victorious legions.

Good, a storyline helps with the immersion into the fantasy world. In your description, The militaryy Adviser says, "claim their women." Does that mean mates with them? Would they mate with dwarf women as well? Maybe, the storyline, in your game does not go into such detail. humans breeding with Orcs would be a stretch (since humans would find them disgusting). This could lead to inbreeding and bastard races (half-breeds) human/orc ,dwarf/orc and so on.

Well, we don't go that deep in the game mechanics. Still, a neighboring realm of Giants does also employ half-orc units...

Good Hunting!
