COW 1.21 Patch

Legion is now available on iPad!
In Slitherine Strategies' Legion Gold, Gates of Troy and Spartan and Chariots of War (re-releases), you will lead your nation to victory in the ancient world’s greatest battles. Control a vast empire and fight epic battles on 3D battlefields. Historical heroes to come to your aid it will take strategy to build your civilization and conquer your enemies. Gates of Troy and Spartan are fully compatible and owners of both titles can play the full set of scenarios with the Gates of Troy engine.

I note a very recent new patch for Chariots of War ( 1.21 ) and a Vista fix for this also.

Can anyone tell me / us what the this patch has adjusted / fixed / added ??

There was a bug which could show up under specific memory circumstances on some machines which caused a crash when mousing over one of your cities. If you're not experiencing the crash you don't need the update :)

PS : I presume that your comment applies to the entire 1.21 patch ( original, as well as the Vista fix part ), rather than just the latter ?

Honestly I'm not sure. The very latest zip is just to fix the crash bug. If you purchased the game even vaguely recently I would imagine you have the latest version.

I bought the game some years ago.

It is currently patched up to ( and including ) 1.14.

Please ascertain the required information and post accordingly.

You have v1.14 and the latest version is 1.21, so you should patch to the latest version if you are having problems. If not the patch wont really make any difference.

Hi.

Just bought the game. Installed it and I noticed it was already updated to 1.15 but I thought I should try the 1.21 update.
When using the 1.21 exe the game just crashes and I get a Install CRC Failure and "Try reinstalling the game to fix the error" message.
Just before the crash I can see the game version still says 1.15. Does this mean that my installer already contains
the 1.21 update?

I`m running the game on win 7 64-bit
