tin soldiers alexander demo

When I start the demo I get a black screen for a few secons, then I just get my desktop-screen back. I have included the log.

Windows Xp home edition
1,4 Ghz Amd Athlon
128 Mb Graphics
1024 Mb RAM

I am not an expert at reading these log files, but the one thing I can see is that I am running a newer Nvidia driver version. Updating that may fix this.

Another thing that might cause the problem is the .NET framework. During the installation there is a question whether or not to install it. If you don't, the game will not run. I think Koios/Matrix is obliged to ask about installing because of some license stuff. The managed directx component is also required. Let me know if any of this helped.

This is actually a common error caused by the installation of another product. Please see Arial font problem at: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=735218 (which is at the top of this board.)
