Macedonian Phalanx

Hey guys In the Armies info for the Macedonians there are no Phalanx troops.I t just shows 2 types of heay inf. whats up? does the game have the Phalns or not?

Yes, the Macedonian/Greek four stand Veteran/Elite units with spears and armor are the phalanx units. There are combinations of light/medium/heavy armor with spears, different training levels, etc. but they are considered to be phalanx units.

Well, thats kinda my point. The Macedonian phalanx was knowed for carrying a 14-16 ft. pike not a spear. None of the heavy inf. appear to have this weapon.

That's true, we're not oblivious to the differences between Alexander's phalanxes and others, but in this case it's reflected in the higher training of the troops rather than in a different weapon type. Throughout the campaign, Alexander's spear units tend to have the highest experience (as long as they don't take too many losses) and generally will run over many enemy units. Of course, it's rarely an even battle - Thebes is about as even as it gets.

Regarding uninstalling, I'm not sure I follow - did you use the uninstaller icon in the start menu for the demo? There should be no need for System Restore. Uninstalling the demo works fine here.

[:D]iNow that I looked it over the screenshots show the Persians with what appear to be the pikes(saris)2nd row of inf. I only brought it up because the game pieces are modeled after miniatures(25mm) I think.And to most miniatures players and to most gamers the look is part of fun of it all.Maybe the graphics for the Phalanx could be added with the next patch,oh and it needs to be larger(more figurs per unit),[:D]
while I'm making suggestions
PS.after rechecking the game is now unistalled,all is well just cant get it to reinstll now.
oh yes sorry about the crap remake ,I know this game started as someones labor of love.
