So many doubts an concerns

Post by joe78man »

Hello guys, I'm trying this game, the idea and concept are awesome, but I don't think I can say the same for the actual game.

So many things don't make sense to me, and I wonder you can put some light on them, such as:

1. While accelerating or whipping, both my horses and other horses which suppose to be equally fast, have different speed. Different horses with equal speed run at different speed. (not talking about leashing vs accelerating, or damaged horses, or visible factors that would make a difference)

2. How can I tell how bad it would affect the stability if I take any action? the color shows the stability if keeping the same speed, but how can I tell how dangerous it is if I turn to an inner track, accelerate, etc?

3. Stability color turns orange while running a straight line, far from the corner. horses not damaged, wheels in good condition, rider ok too. What is it??????

4. At start I can see my cart and another one, excact cart level, rider level, same horses. He whips, I whips, my horses run faster for no aparten reason

5. While turning, with greenest color showing best stability, my cart slides outwards.

6. Now I whip, the exact copy of mine, accelerates, we both have the same speed.

7. I was whipping, Copy was ready to crash, I was running faster. Next move, we both control, he runs faster than me.

What the faq is this games logic? [:(]

Just curious, are you playing on a PC or iPad?

I hope you get a good reply to answer these questions. [:)]

I tried...

1. Speed depends on the chariot type, horse type and damage state and possibly the skill of the driver.

2. I have not found a definitive way to do this, just "feel" methods that involve a lot of spilled and damaged chariots.

3. ? Don't know. Could indicate the possibility of wheel damage, which always seems to be speed related.

4. See # 1 ?

5. Color does not inidcate an absolute level of certainty, it's just general. Sliding is usually preferable to damage.

6. See # 1. ?

7. See # 1. ?

There is always the unthinkable....read the manual/tutorials in the game.

1. Acceleration and top speed are different factors. Speed is ruled by horses, acceleration are ruled by chariot quality. So there are teams with fast horses that could get very bad positions at start.
2. You have to guess and learn from previous experiences, this is intended
3. If you are running with the smallest chariots, there are chances in high speed to suffer damage even if unharmed
4. as I said at other thread, accelerations are randomized in a bell curve between an interval defined by chariot quality.
5. sliding could happen even when danger levels are low.
6 & 7. Two things to have in mind:
-damaged horses reduces top speed level
-whipping could exceed you top speed level for one turn only, after that you automatically return to your top speed (and if horses are hurt, your top speed decreases)
