AI turn - slow that baby down

Conquest! Medieval Realms, developed by Illustrious Software, is a turn-based game that combines the pure strategic gameplay of Chess and the key principles of military strategy in a historical setting. The objective is to conquer up to 7 opposing AI or human players by defeating their armies and capturing their lands. To gain supremacy, players will need to unite their spread out lands, build a roaring economy, and raise powerful armies to divide and conquer their enemies. Boost your income via markets and mines, upgrade your armies with stables and archery fields, or amass a large force, but sound strategy and careful thought will help you more than brute force.

AI turn - slow that baby down

I think the AI moves are still going far too fast.

Could we get a larger time delay after each piece moved by the AI? Preferably one when selected and another after each move?

It's certainly possible to do - i think we'll probably be looking to add some way to control the speed of the AI turns in an update, rather than forcing it to be fast or slow - much better if we let people choose their speed.

Can I recommend that this work be done sooner than later.

Too many games get their great patch after players have had the game too long. By then they don't want to play it anymore or the market has moved on and no one wants to buy it.

Carriers at War (Matrix) and Defending the Defending the Reich (HPS) are examples that come to mind for me. Patch finally gives players the features they want but everyone has moved on.

I agree with you - however we have to deal with the issues regarding the demo before we can do the update. also, doing an update too quickly could mean that bugs get missed.

Also consider some people are waiting for this stuff to be fixed before buying.  This game looks right up my alley.  But I won't purchase until this stuff is fixed and people on the forum are satisfied.

Having the option as to the speed would be great. [;)]
