Trouble loading WSS scenarios

Dear Fellow gamers:
I just purchased WSS, but I am having trouble loading or launching any of the scenarios. I click on an individual scenario to highlight that choice, then I read the pop-up window and close the pop-up window then click on play. In seven to ten tries the short Italian scenario has only loaded ONCE. I should have immediately saved the game at the very beginning but I did NOT think of that!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Gary,

I'm not sure which pop up you are closing... from the main screen I left click on new, then a scenario, then left click on a leader portrait to select the side and then left click 'play' (bottom right of the pop up)



another possibility is running as Administrator.
