How are demolished bridges denoted?

I have yet to encounter one but how does the game denote a demolished bridge? Something like a cross over the graphics?

The graphic for broken bridges are in the game folder 'graphics/counters' and the counter set that I am using has six 'red cross' options depending on the orientation within the bridge hex.
