First game as Coalition AAR

This is my and my opponent's first game as our respective sides. We're also playing a mirror game where I'm France and he's Coalition.

The general coalition plan will be to hang on to Vienna as long as possible using militia from Hungary and building Hohenzollern who seems like a good value for an Austrian leader.

Russia will invest in tech and save up PP's to resist any French advance.

Battered British fleet slowly sails north to Britain.

South of Vienna, Italian cavalry harasses the Austrian light artillery corp.

The main French army batters away at the Austrians to the west, but a combined Austrian and Russian counterattack destroys a French light infantry corp.

Bad weather finally hits to slow the French advance. Getting 3 turns of clear weather hastened the French advance and the Austrians are glad to see the early winter weather begin. The Italians south of Vienna have been harassing the Austrian rear so militia sets up a blocking position while we wait for Russians to arrive from the east.

The Venice garrison emerges to harass French artillery in northern Italy.

Nelson's fleet continues to limp home from the battle at Trafalgar.

Hohenzollern is purchased to command the defense of Vienna.

Rainy weather continues in December. The Italians are driven back to the south by the newly arrive Russian vanguard. A newly formed Austrian infantry corp arrives to join Hohenzollern's army. French cavalry pushes to the gates of Vienna.
