et la version française ??

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

et la version française ??

Post by vanmi »

Ne devait-il pas y avoir une version française de Crown of Glory. C'est sympa en anglais, mais beaucoup plus reposant en français. De plus je pourrai enfin attirer du monde pour jouer avec moi [;)]

I want a french version for Crown of Glory !!!!

We hope that at some point there will be a French version of COG that we will be able to release. At the moment, because of business considerations, we are unable to move forward on localized versions of the game. Hopefully if COG gets just a bit more positive exposure in the European gaming press we will be in a position where we can move forward with the localized versions.

I too would very much like to get the French version of COG released.

We should have a review in BUG Magazine's February edition -- 89%. (I'm trying to find someone to translate a pull-quote from the Hungarian.)

Most of the other European reviews have been in print magazines, so I can't link to them; we got an 8/10 in Giocati, and an 80% in Vae Victis.

Net Wargaming Italia gave us an 80%: http://www.netwargamingitalia.net/Revie ... id-80.html

GamersHall gave us an 88%:

That's not bad at all. After your post I googled around a bit and found this one
http://www.pcdome.hu/print.php?id=1740.

Basically it describes the game and states that it is for fans really due to its complexity.

I up this discussion. Each 2 month, an article for CoG is release in one of the most famous strategy mag in france (PC4War). The game had obtain 4/5.

Here the link to the last mag : http://www.pc4war.com/PC4War21/pc4war21.htm

4 page for this game.

I hope a french version soon. (i can read english easyly, but i'm very, very bad to writing something [;)])

Localized versions of "Crown of Glory" in French, German, Italian, and Spanish will be distributed by Black Bean:

It should be available sometime in June if all goes well.

J'ai trouvé sur le net une version française du manuel pour la version 1. L'auteur est Arnaud sur Campaigns-france.

L'adresse : http://www.campaigns-france.org/showthr ... 65&page=12

Voilà, j'espère que cela vous aidera.

PS: Merci Arnaud
