Historical Battles?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

We haven't planned any historical battles for the release of COG.

If there is interest in such a thing, we have drafted a design document for an expansion pack that would include a map editor and battlefield scenario designer. With this we would include many historical battles (both maps and orders of battle). It would allow players to design, randomly generate, or pick a historical battlefield, choose a historical army or purchase a custom army, and then fight on that battlefield without having to worry about the strategic level of the game. We may even allow for larger battlefields (larger than our 40x40 hex map) played with smaller scales of units.

This is what will make the game a success. The ability of the community to create battles and exchange them. Let the community create battles like Age of Rifles... AOR is still active to this day.

Please consider this a must with the game ... random battles would be GREAT ! [;)]
Thanks
