System requirements

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

It runs in 1024x768. My screen is 1280x1024 and it looks great, but if your monitor and video card do not resize well it might be a bit fuzzy. Crown of Glory does not have a windowed mode.

Unfortunately, with Windows 98 support coming to an end, I think more and more titles will require 2000/XP as the base in the future. Most Windows 98 computers, provided they have a good amount of memory, will run XP just fine so hopefully only an OS upgrade would be necessary.

Fair enough. I've had a good run with this rig (5 years), and it is time I faced up to putting my hand in my pocket for new kit. I reckon my beige box needs more than just a new OS. Being a stingy Scot, I just keep putting it off and off!
