Legendary Units?

There are LUs in COG:EE right?

How does that system work as compared to FOF? Do LUs in COG:EE have abilities already preselected for them as in FOF?

They are not called Legendary Units per se, but yes, some units are given special abilities at start (French Guard units, for example), and you have the option of spending experience points as they accumulate, to purchase special abilities for other units as well. An example would be special training for a Division of Infantry to perform better in wooded terrain, or when charged by cavalry, and many more.
