Liberation through treaty

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Liberation through treaty

Post by evwalt »

I have always thought this does NOT work. Has anyone ever managed to liberate a country through treaty?

The reason why I ask is that I am currently playing a 4v4 PBEM and one computer player just forced another computer player to liberate a country through a peace treaty and the liberation went through! Obviously, liberation works for the computer at least.

Liberate country doesn't work because the area selection screen doesn't work. The AI can do it because the AI doesn't use the controls we use.

I am pretty sure this is known about, so hopefully fixed whenever the new patch comes out?

Good to hear - I was wondering about the province selection screen myself.
