Protectorate issues

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

Ie I said north of rome because in the map it's straight up from rome... but I guess in truth it's more like north east from rome...

Eric and I have worked it out (with the help of Hard Sarge)--there were certain circumstances where it did occupy--it happened whenever there wasn't an actual siege.

You were seeing the correct behavior--that was working as designed. Sorry for the confusion, everyone.

We've made it consistent now...but in fact we think we'd like to go back to occupying whenever it isn't the capital province!

As for Venetia/Illyria, it turns out that's a separate issue, which will be fixed.

Sorry Z but I find your answer unclear and I'm really interested since this is a feature of the game that really interest me...

If I understand:
As is right now is what was intended.
But you'd like to go back to what you were talking about in the older (now deleted) post of yours?

Am I getting this right?
If yes thank you so very much...

If not thank you for taking the time to listen anyways :)

Thanks

Eric told me my issue was related to a bug in the cede province screen that wasnt allowing me to demand it back, never heard any word on why my liberation demand was accepted and not followed.

Would like to hear more if any details are available.

from talking with Mr. Z, it seems we were/are seeing different things, which basicly, means there is a Oddity (not really a bug, as it works as intended, the oddity, is in how to make it work)

now the hassle is, the Oddity, can be a explot, so I will not going into details on how it happened or why (as I have only seen it once in about 17 full test games, and countless sub games, so it can be rare)

so, you going to see something even rarer, I am going to shut up and not reply to this anymore (until we figured out what to do with it)
