Crash on combine PBEM

Hi
i installed windows 7 and i'm not more able to combine pBEM, when i click on it the game crash, when i used XP usually i had this problem but with a reboot of the PC i was able to combine the files, now even after the reboot the game continues to crash.
there some compatibility problem with W7?

I'm sure about the compatibility with windows 7 but I think you can run the game in XP mode using windows 7.  Maybe that would fix the problem.

i tried launch the gaqme with compatibility with xp sp 2, sp 3 , win 2000 andstill crash

Sorry, I somehow missed this post. Is there still a problem? If so, I'll alert the programmer.

sorry, i missed your post too, but i still have this problem, for now the combine is made by a fiend that still use XP

I've just tried to combine a turn on my new computer (Win7) and am having the same problem. Doesn't work in XP mode either. :(

(I was always able to combine on my old machine- even if having to reboot occasionally to get it to work)

I'm having the same problem in a new game we've just started. Compatability mode doesn't help, nor does a reinstall of the C++ runtime library

This is a known issue for which I unfortunately have not been very successful in finding a remedy.  It seems that some versions of the Windows multiselect file dialog are simply not backwards compatible with the version of the multiselect file dialog with which we tested the game.
