Assertion Failure

Hi All,

Every time I exit out of the game after running a turn, I get an assertion failure in thrdcore.cpp line 830. I'm running Windows 7 64 and I've tried the following to see if I could find the reason:

- I've set compatibility options to Windows XP SP3
- I changed the processor affinity for the executable to 2 and 1 CPU; and
- I run the application as "administrator".

None of these has prevented the error from occuring. It doesn't seem to affect the game, but there may be things happening in the background that are effected that I'm not aware of.

Does anybody have any ideas?

This has been reported, but I've been unable to reproduce it on any of our machines in-house.  Since it doesn't seem to affect the game at all (nor even the system cleanup, such as file or memory handles) I haven't expended much additional effort to address the issue.

Well I have the same error occuring,I use Windows 7 32bit,it occurs when you EXIT the game?

I'm getting the same error on any game I save and try to re-load later....

I get the same error.

It is when the saves are far into games, 100+ turns. County does not matter.

Once you get it on one save, it seems to "infect them all".
