Leader Casualties

Post by leehieb »

I am currently playing a Union campaign, it is late November 1863 and I have yet to see a single leader casualty. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

I understand it’s very difficult to lose a Corps or Army Leader but I think we should be losing some leaders in light of the historically high occurrence during the war. [:'(]

seems to me that leaders are destroyed when the force they were leading is destroyed.
I could be wrong.

Had Hooker killed at Harpers Ferry in his first battle. Force was not destroyed.

There is always a chance to get a stray bullet yet. Some find the % too low, some find it is ok. You can tweak it by editing a text file though.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing as I kept reading about how many generals ended up getting killed or seriously wounded in "The Longest Night" by David J. Eicher.

2 or 3 stars makes you superman?

That just doesn't seem right to me.  A tiny tweak seems in order for realism's sake.
