unable to register ageod

Post by robot »

Whats wrong at ageods foums. When I tried to register the form already 5 black dots in the password. Then when i try to make my password by deleting the one thats there wont let me. Also if i leave the dots and add mine in confirm says not the same. How do you register there so i can post there and get some much needed help. Two days playing this game and still unable to form divisions or make the already formed ones join my corp also unable to get my corp to join the aop army that appeard

When the units have that padlock thing on them are you unable to do anything with them like make divisions and also to make corps. Like when i was trying to get one of the formed divisions that appears to form into the corps several of the units in the division have padlocks on them does this stop me. This all happens near washington DC during the first three turns am I not waiting long enought o form up my forces. maybe hold off till the units have those padlocks off them. have played the basic tutoials at least three times and forming the armys always goes very smooth there. But none of those units have this dam padlock on them. Something the manuel or the tutorial does not explain very well.

I understand blue water blockade but what is brown water blockade and what are the advanteges over the other and disadvantages. My conception of brown water is as follows. You must move your fleet to the blue water that lights up when you move mouse over port. Is this right or wrong.

There is so much congestion around DC right now and I have all these generals with nothing to do until i can create more divisions. Are you able to make corps with out any army around if you have a 2 star general or higher that is sitting around.

I think AGEOD is releasing a new game. May explain the problems/wait at their site.

You have to wait until the padlock is off to manipulate a units. If you started the grand campaign scenario in April as Union, and it sounds like you did, almost all units are locked. When you run the cursor over the unit it will explain how long it will be before they are unlocked.

If your army is correctly formed (i.e. it has a commander) a corps will automatically join the army w/i command range. IIRC only Milroy and one other are around to form a corp that early. If you're still having problems reread the relevant section in the manual, it's well written.

There's a limit on divisions that increases w/ time. Starts at 6 divs, increases to 48. The initial AoP may take all of the division slots. Additonally, make sure you have enough resources to form them. If you can't form a division, running the cursor over the form div button will usually tell you why.

As for too many generals, pick the ones you to promote and put them in a place that they'll see action. Send several west, they'll need divisions soon.

There are several threads dealing w/ blue/brown water blockades.
