More Vista

Post by tostador »

Hello everyone.
The first thing, sorry for my horrible English [&o]. I have tried to start the game in Vista Ultimate 64, but I have always the same problem with the introduction flash.
I read a previous post where he talks about the problem, but can not find the file forgeofreedom.ini anywhere. Any idea? I have no hidden files or folders and flash is update.
thanks in advance.

First issue is that Vista won't create .ini files unless the program is run under administrator settings:  tm.asp?m=1666481&mpage=1&key=forgeoffre ... i&#1667575

Gil, I don't have a ForgeOfFreedom.ini file on this machine.  Perhaps you could find yours, zip it, and upload it on this thread?

That's irksome -- the site doesn't let me upload a zip file. Tostador, if you message me your e-mail address I'll send it.

Unfortunately I have tried to file Gil R. (thanks), edited non flash, and installation with administrator account, and I still have the same problem. It gives me an error because it can not find flash.ocx file, but if dragged the intro to the Firefox I played without problems.

PS: Although installed with the administrator account, it did not file forgeoffreedom.ini

Did you add the NOFLASH=1 line to the .ini file that Gil posted?

At the end it started [;)]. The messenger needed to install the flash player (again) and now starts the game (Vista mysteries), although I see only the menus (enough). Thank you all for help.
