Video Issues

I recently purchased the game. Whenever I attempt to load, the main start up screen is completely white. I think it has something to do with a video. Is there a video that plays on the game set up screen, or is this some kind of series of Civil War pictures? I can still see the menus, but all of the load screens are blank and white. Has anyone else had this problem?

I do have a 4 year old Nvidia Geforce graphics adapter. It is updated to the latest drivers, which are at least a year old. And I am running the latest version of DirectX 9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These images are shown using Adobe Flash, and so you may need to update both your Flash and Shockwave drivers.  Here's a discussion thread that pertains to these drivers:
