Horse Farms

Why does it seem like I don’t ever have enough horses and all I do is build horse farms? I must be missing something obvious here.

Perhaps the places where you've build horse farms are still set to produce iron? That's a common rookie error that even I made, back in the days of alpha-testing.

Aah, you mean this is one of the many details of this game that I have either ignored by choice or by ignorance – but as I learn of them and how to use them, I love the game even more.

I will look into that one.

So now when I switch this over, I am going to have more horses than I know what to do with.

Sounds like it. You'll soon find that it's good to pay close attention when deciding which provinces will produce which resources. For example, if you start off with an iron works in a province that produces about the same amount of iron and horses, you will want to put mines there, not horse farms.

LOL. I've been doing not much more than producing whatever and wherever. But this will be the next part of the game I want to work on.

And sorry to tell you but your wrong about something - I'm not liking this game at all. I love it!

Now if I can just find out how to make my precious General Nagle show up - I will be beyound just loving the game.

If you want Nagle to show up 100% of the time, just mod the commanders.txt files for the July and November scenarios by putting a 200 in the "Chance" column (which currently has a 9). There's still time to get Nagle's bio -- along with historical ratings -- into the next patch, if you find the time.

Make that change in just those two folders? Because I see it is in five places.

Well, the two July and two November commanders.txt files are identical, so you can change one and copy it over the other.
