Multiplayer

It has been a long time since I played Scourge of War Gettysburg as I bought it from Norbsoft. I have updated to version 1.61 and decided to check out how multiplayer worked now.

I created a player name and entered a password. When I tried to enter the game lobby there was the following message:
"Not connected to server"

How do I connect up to the game lobby or is multiplayer now only available through direct IP? Thanks.
