Newbie request for assistance.

I am an experienced computer wargamer but I can not figure out how to make the units move in Guns of August. Can anyone help me?

You can only make them move in the Orders phase, not in Activation or Strategic. In the Orders phase you just click on a friendly unit and a popup menu will give you options, the top one being "Move Unit". Select that and then little arrows will appear pointing to the adjacent hexes that are available to be moved into. Move the mouse pointer over one of those adjacent hexes being pointed at and your selected unit should move.

Silly of me to forget to say this but when you move the mouse pointer over the desired hex you also have to left click the mouse before the unit will move.
