Game hangs after 2nd turn

I am running GoA on a Windows 7 64bit platform with Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Compatibility. I find that after the 2nd turn it goes into a hang and the program just shows 'Busy'.

My PC setup is a standard configuration with 6mb ram and a GeForce GTX 560Ti graphics card. I have installed the 1.34 patch.

Has anyone else this problem? I suspect that GoA is showing its age and is too old for my set-up.

I have resolved the problem. Embarrassingly it was my fault. It was a screen resolution issue which masked the continue arrow at the bottom of the screen. Duh! So please consider my question closed.
