Question On The Reinforcement Phase

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Question On The Reinforcement Phase

Post by tgb »

When I saw the full campaign (1914-1919) only had 9 turns/year, I thought that it would go by quickly. Hah! Two hours in, and I've just finished the Early 1914 pre-turn in my first go-round (I spend about an hour deciding on War Doctrines for France & Russia. Don't know why I couldn't choose one for Serbia).

Anyway:

In the reinforcement phase I get messages saying reinforcements have arrived for Serbia, Great Britain (got them to declare in early August via diplomacy), etc., yet when I open the reinforcement window, there is nothing inside - just the vertical list of all my armies.

And while I'm on that subject, it would be nice if you could go to those armies in the vertical stacks (esp. the ones flagged for Enforced Attacks) by single or double clicking on them.

Look toward the bottom of your screen and you'll see a horizontal list of your reinforcements. The vertical list is just the army hq's which are eligible to be reinforced. The units at the bottom are your reinforcements. You can drag and drop your reinforcements onto the hq's in the vertical list or directly onto the map.

I know - and that horizontal list is empty.

What is weirder is that as the Germans one receives a corps or two at the begining for a XII army which isn't even on the screen. What am I missing?
