Problem

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Problem

Post by petgod »

Hi all,

Ok having read all the doom and gloom about this game but having faith in matrix not to offer a product that they wont get sorted, I brought the damn thing. So far no real CTD problems however I have hit a block.

I have completed my first turn (early 1914), I have done the diplomatic bit and military bit. I then fought my first combat and hit my 1st reinforcement phase. It offered me a couple of reinforcements which I allocated but now it wont let me move to the next phase. It says something about check if army has mandatory attack but I cant find it anywhere. So questions:

1. How the hell to I find this unit?

2. Is there any simple way to cycle through the units?

3. HHHEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!

First, I'm no expert and haven't played much, but ran into the same problem. Units that have to make "mandatory attacks" have a red flag over them. I was playing the Central Powers and couldn't for the life of me find any units with red flags, until I realize that I was ignoring the Austrians. (Some enemy units will also have the red flags; so don't be confused.) When you attack with the unit the red flag turns green.
