Installation Tip

This revised and updated turn-based grand strategy game from the team at AGEOD brings players back to World War I, including both the Eastern and Western fronts and over 4 campaigns and 10 scenarios. As either a member of the Central Powers, the Entente or a neutral nation, players will confront the epic gauntlet of military and political challenges that faced the likes of Kitchener, Joffre, Luddendorf, Clemenceau, Czar Nicholas II or Enver Pasha.

Installation Tip

Post by 06 Maestro »

I finally got around to eliminating the "copy 2" which would start as the default game. On my system, the game would unpack in the "Program Files", and then install. During installation, it created another folder in the programs list, and the other one did not completely self delete. During my recent new install, I made sure that the actual installation went into the same folder. Another option is to create a new folder on the desktop, and run the install from there. You still cannot trust the presented destination folder, you should navigate to the remnants of the old one so you have just the one-otherwise, make sure the old install is completely gone.

There are some clear benefits for me after changing it to one folder. The habit of the "hand" getting stuck on buttons (especially the "next") has completely ended. I can also move the hand cursor around while the AI is working. There is also a noticeable drop in system use.

If you ended up with two program folders like I did, I would suggest a new install, you will like the results.
