LOS LOF

Could someone explain the difference between
LOS and LOF tool.

Los is line of sight(what can be seen) lof is line of fire(what can be fired on and gives effective % of hit accuracy

I think the line of fire tool gives accuracy and the 'hit' value may be the damage the weapon can do? I can get 100% acurracy with my Maxin on a Marder but 0% hit value.... and then I'm dead [;)]
