Airplanes

Achtung Panzer:Operation Star is an Eastern Front wargame with solid graphics and sprawling battlefields that really emphasize the scope of WWII tank combat. The gameplay is a remarkably realistic turn-based and real-time operational/tactical hybrid wargame that continues the series begun by the acclaimed Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943.

Airplanes

Has anyone been Bomber or Bombee with a airplane?
Have yet to see any aircraft in any scenario.
While few men, legislators or otherwise,have felt down the years
that they could command ships of the line or marshal air armies
without specialized training, almost any fool has felt in his heart
he could command a regiment.

yup, Russians brought out their biplanes to drop some bombs on me...that made me laugh. I also called some planes for an airstrike as germans.

I have seen a number of effective Jabo strikes. Remember that you need to call in airstrikes as you do with artillery - they don't appear for your side unless you call them with a spotter who has the Airstrike button active. There are only a few of these spotter units in the game.

When you call them in, you don't specify a target zone in detail. Just right click on the map in the general area and the planes will circle the whole area and spot their own targets.
