I think I have everything right now. If my Game Updater looks like this is it correct? Seems strange that the 7c patch shows up as version 3.04. The version when I start the game shows 5.77? So darn confusing.

If you have the matrix version of operation star in order to get rid of the black ground in the dlc.
1- reinstall game.
2- install k43t_apos_patch_07c_(feb12_eng) for APOS (not the core update just the patch).
3- install the dlc.

I had previously forgot to mention having to install 07c patch.

Patch 7c shows up as version 3.04. This is correct. Check this link http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/t ... _star.html this is just to show 3.04 is correct for 7c patch.

Here's another way to fix matrix version dlc problem. I havent tried it this way. tm.asp?m=3098196

Havent had any problems with game this way. If any problems come up you can always use the other fix.
