Problem with tactical view

I just downloaded the game Actung Panzer Operation Star and I am unable to view the 3 dimensional terrain view when I start a tactical battle. The 2 dimensional mini map looks fine, as do the various command buttons. However, instead of the 3D terrain view all I see is a blank area of my screen. Please help!!!

I had the same problem. Try setting '1.01 Visual quality' to 'Speed'. That worked for me.

You can try this steps:
1) Make sure that AA not forced in your driver settings.
2) Disable HDR
3) Set visual quality to low, as write Negozio.

Ok I started a campaign game because I could not get the tutorial to help me. Even tried going through the manual... (useless)
So In the campaign scree it seems to start to function but it is SO DAMN DARK you cannot see anything. Tried another battleand get the same result.
Are all of these battles at night?

In operational phase you can see daytime on the bottom of screen (see attach). Each turn takes 4 hours. So if it is a nighttime (~19:00 - 7:00) then battle will be in the dark.
If you don't like night battles then you can turn off setting 4.05. ( It means that AI will engage you at the night much rarely, but it do nothing if you attacking by yourself ).
