Questions?

Post by Popeye »

1. How's the game compared to UV?
2. It appears it's only CVTF vs CVTF?
3. No fighting to take bases or long term battle plans?
4. No PBEM?
5. No disc yet?
6. Worth the $60?

Thanks for any input.....[&o]

I believe this is not the correct sub-forum to ask, but....

1. Different [:D]
2. Surface battles are also modelled, as are sub attacks. Sub attacks happen without any input from the player, and surface combat is rudimentary modelled. Bombarding airfields is totally useless. I think we can say 80% of combat is either CVTF vs CVTF or CVTF vs something else (transports).
3. No.
4. No, just direct network play 1 vs 1.
5. Don't know.
6. Personally I'd say 25-30$ would be a fair price for a game this short with only 6 or 7 standalone scenarios playable in single player, and even less in multiplayer, and no campaign (but that's just my opinion). BTW price for the digital download is 50$ not 60$.

If we see some more free official and player made scenarios real soon and a fine tunning of the game system through prompt patches and enhancements it`s worth the $50.
