map/scenario editor?

hi folks

i cannot get the editor to work properly - as soon as i copy over a modded scenario into the games install directory, the game crashes after the slitherine/firepower intro screen. Removing the modded scenario and everything is fine.

I am using the editor downloaded from the slitherine site.

anyone help with this?
