do scenarios have to be the same version of game

Are thy not backwards compatible? reason I ask is, I started up TOA5.. 6th Panzer.. as Germans.. played my turn.. but when I hit end turn, nothing happened.. I notice TOA5 is 1.01 and my BII is 1.02 after the patch.. is this the reason nothing happens when I hit end turn?

I gave up and tried the Kharkov user scenario and that seems to be functioning properly, even though that really doesn't mention a version.

yes I did.... reading the SSG forums... I think there is no AI for this scenario.. oh well.. playing Karkov for my first game... duh.. probably would've been smarter to play the scenarios that came with it....
