Email game on Vista

I just installed BiI on Vista Home edition. While the game plays normally, I have a problem when sending a PBEM turn. It tells me 'MSMAPI32.OCX' or one if its dependencies not correctly registered... Any ideas how to solve it? It looks like the save game file is nowhere saved though.

sounds like the *.OCX file is missing or corupted. I would try doing a search on-line for the file and seeing if that will help.
