Holding firm - first impressions of battle!

Post by PzB74 »

First large battle in BIN - playing the Axis vs the Allies in Normandy, large campaign with advantage on for the AI.
It put on a lot of pressure, but my lines held and I've caused a lot of Allied casualties around Caen.

First on turn 24 did I find a breach in the American lines - as you can see, a kessel has been made and I've cut the road leading out from Carentan. Will be interesting to see whether I can reduce the pocket, difficult to get good odds.

I retreated out from Cherbourg around turn 10, and ever since the AI has been busy mopping up and blowing up forts.
The only REALLY silly thing it has done is to use 90% of the Allied interdiction strikes on the peninsula after I left it!?

The game is stabile, and I enjoy it! I hardly ever play the AI anymore, but in BIN it isn't too bad [:)]

Well I hope that you dominate this game like you do in WITP.[&o] I really enjoy the game to. I recomend if you can to try and build up a large force to launch a counter attack with. I have won a few battles by let ing the allies overextend there lines then use my Panzer to punch a hole right though them and push them to the sea.
