Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

We're in for a treat with Korsun Pocket. Bought TAO when it first came out & played it to extinction. It had just the right mix of ingredients to make it the best operational wargame I've ever played. The AI was tough. The game had a relatively shallow learning curve but, in spite of its seeming simplicity, was most challanging. I felt I was able to try out different approaches against a realistic & smart opponent where I was rewarded for good tactics & punished for bad ones. The game had a relentless flow to it because of the ease the interface allowed in moving & fighting units; I experienced none of the inertia I feel in more complex games. The tension created by the difficulty in winning in spite of the ease of play became very addicting & it was one of those games I couldn't wait to get back to play on a daily basis. If you don't believe me then try out TAO yourself. It's just my opinion.

Well said, I agree completely. Waiting is very hard even when I have other games to play. About one more month. Not to bad.
We aim to please, unless there is a clear headshot.
