The Ardennes Offensive

Hello,

I have a question about The Ardennes Offensive. I know this game is available as a free download, but it doesn't work on XP (not on my computers anyway). I saw that there is a version for sale on the SSG website which says "for windows XP".
Is this a different version that does indeed work on XP?

Basically, I am looking for this game on XP!

Do you have the KP version (TAO3) or are you trying to play the old TAO2 freeware?

Just to make sure..
You do know that a version of the Ardnennes Offensive is included in the Korsun Pocket game? It ran great without any extra steps when I was still using XP. You will have no trouble.

It does not include the unit histories for all the divisions on both sides like the original or free download versions but the roadblock and strongpoint rules are improved. It is the same game slightly cleaned up.

Plus you get the great Korsun game. Containing Korsun and the Ardennes Offensive I think Korsun Pocket is a really great value.

No, I have not heard of TAO3. I can't seem to find it on the web either.

I am a great Grigsby fan and played all his EF games. I havent tried this series yet.. is it worth buying?

WE are all fun of Gary Grigsby games from DOS to Windows, but for me ALL SSG games are TOP games,
after 30 years of strategy gaming i had time only for SSG "i prefer SSG Battle in Italy with all the addon scenarios",
and recently i find UNITY OF COMMAND that is an excellent new game.
I suggest you to download the demo of SSG Battle in Normandy and of Unity of Command.
